Quick and Easy Animated Photo Collage

Introduction

Would you like to save time creating well designed photo collages? In this video, I will show you two options to create a collage quickly and easily. Let's get started.

Using the Picture Smart Art Tool

  • The first option is using the Picture Smart Art tool
  • Change the slide layout to Blank
  • Add your photos either from stock images or your computer
  • if not already selected, Press Ctrl A to select all of the photos
  • From the Format Shape tab, select the Picture Layout option
  • Mousing over each option will show what the layout will look like
  • Pick a layout
  • Then Click the Convert button and choose Convert to Shape
  • From the Picture Format tab, choose Group and Ungroup
  • You can now rearrange and resize images the way you want

Apply the Animation

  • Select all of the images
  • From the Animations tab, choose an animation
  • In the Start option choose After Previous
  • In the Duration, chose a medium speed of 2 seconds
  • click the Preview button to check the animation
  • Modify as needed

Using PowerPoint Designer

  • Add your photos either from stock images or your computer
  • From the Home tab, click the Designer button
  • Choose the option you want
  • Select all of the images
  • From the Animations tab, choose an animation
  • In the Start option choose After Previous
  • In the Duration, chose a medium speed of 2 seconds
  • Click the Preview button to check the animation
  • Modify as needed

Save as a .gif or Video

  • For both options you can save the file a gif or video
  • From the File menu, choose Export
  • Select the option you want.
