AI Video Tools for Repurposing Your Masterclasses and Webinars Recordings

At this moment in time AI video tools provide many benefits. And still have a long way to go in other areas. But despite some drawbacks, this isn’t a reason to sit back and wait. Currently, there are several advantages to using exiting AI video tools.

After giving a masterclass or webinar, I always enjoy that moment of afterglow. My energy level is still high. I’m excited about the next steps for my clients and potential clients. I’ve also breathed a sigh of relief knowing that the session happened (mostly) without any major hiccups.

One thing I don’t do (at least not anymore) is lock up the session recording and never look at it again.

If you’ve done any type of virtual event, you’ve spent a significant amount of time developing and planning so that you can provide valuable content for your audience.

So don't just let your recording sit collecting virtual dust.

Reproposing Masterclasses and Webinars Recordings

One of post-benefits of doing a virtual event is repurposing that content for social media and follow-up marketing. Allowing you to get even more eyes and ears on you and what you have to offer.

What most of us don't have are endless hours of time to review and clip longer videos for 60-second reels and shorts. And if you aren't familiar with video editing software, you have a steep learning to boot.

Enter AI video tools that make the editing process quicker, easier, and less stress inducing. The two tools I highlight here cut long videos into bit-sized chunks, ideal for social media.

A key thing to remember is that the minutes listed per plan is how long it takes to process a video and not the length of the actual video.

OpusClip

Opusclip (https://www.opus.pro) is a generative AI video tool that repurposes long videos into shorts up to 60 seconds with just one click. It provides 4 plan levels Free (forever), Starter ($9/month or $108 annually), Pro ($29/month per pack or $348 annually per pack), and Enterprise. As you go up in plans you have more options like where you can import your video from and which social media platforms you can post to. The app is powered by OpenAI.

If you aren't doing more than one or two short webinars a month, the free account is a perfect option to get your content repurposed. Additionally, the free account, even with limited tools and features, provides enough options to get a feel for the app if you decide to upgrade to a paid plan.

If you are doing longer masterclasses and workshops or more webinars per month, consider the Starter plan. You can test out this plan with a free trial before typing in your card info. The benefit of this plan is that you can auto post to YouTube Shorts, TikTok, IG Reels, or download the videos, have more editing options, and can remove the OpusClip watermark.

The Pro plan is geared towards professional creators, marketers, and teams. In addition to everything in the Starter plan it also includes the option to create AI generated B-roll, export to Adobe Premiere Pro & DaVinci Resolve, ability to create multiple aspect ratios (9:16, 1:1, 16:9) and a social media scheduler feature

Vidyo.ai

Vidyo.ai (https://vidyo.ai/) is another generative AI video tool that splits long videos into video highlights or shorts. Like OpusClip it has 4 plans: Free, Essential ($29/month or $348 annually), Growth ($41/month or $492 annually), and Custom (ranges from $60 to $90 / month or $720 to $1080 annual).

While the options available on the Free plan aren't a direct 1:1 comparison to OpusClip, it's a bit more generous with the number of processing minutes per month and length of data retention. It also includes a direct posting to TikTok.

The Essential plan is somewhere in between OpusClip's Starter and Pro plan. Similar features include subtitles and multiple aspect ratios. Where this plan stands apart are features like social media scheduling. templates, stock media, background audio, and custom backgrounds.

And the Growth plan, which sets Vidyo.ai apart from OpusClip, provides double the rendering minutes per month, custom brand kit, video transcripts, and social media metadata and analytics. The Growth plan also provides the Viddy AI content assistant, which can create show notes, search-engine-optimized blog posts, LinkedIn posts, and Tweets from your long-form videos. Features like organizing your content calendar is on the horizon.

Where Vidyo.ai seems to fall short on all plans are the video import options with include YouTube, local computer upload, Google Drive, Dropbox, and Box. OpusClip has far more import options.

A Last Word about AI Video Tools

While the AI video tools I highlighted in this article are only two of several options available, it is important to explore and consider what options and features are available. A helpful tip is to determine what features are most important for you right now. And then identify a tool with a plan that best fits those needs. However, don’t get caught up in analysis paralysis. Most tools offer a free plan or trial so you can kick the wheels before fully committing.
